HomeState is currently hiring for the position of Commissary Kitchen Manager!

Salary range $65,000 - $75,000 annually based on experience.

The Commissary Kitchen Manager will report to the Commissary Operations Manager and should inspire and embody HomeState’s culture, mission, and core values. Embrace the vision which includes nurturing our communities within our four walls and in our surrounding community. The Commissary Kitchen Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the Commissary, and is responsible for supporting, managing, and developing all Commissary team members to exceed operational goals.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years in a kitchen management position or fast paced environment facilities.
- 2 - 3 years experience in ERP systems or related.
- Mid-Level computer skills. (Tablets, Ipads, Cellphones and tech devices operations)
- Email reading-writing, google suite, Microsoft Office experience.
- Excel, Google spreadsheets, PP slides, Google Drive work experience.
- HACCP - Food Safety Protocols knowledge.
- Planning and Forecasting basic experience.
- Manager Food Safety Certification required.
- Personable and enjoys leading a diverse team.
- Availability to work a minimum of five days per week. Extended hours and/or a sixth day may occasionally be required. Weekends, day shifts and evening shifts may be required at least twice a week and the rest will be mid shifts.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (6 or more hours per shift)
- Ability to lift 25+ pounds
- Seating 30% - Standing 70%
- Passion for food manufacturing, food safety driven and creative to improve processes for better efficiency.
- Bilingual (Spanish - English) strongly preferred.
