We are currently seeking a Line Cook to join the team at the Life House Hotels managed Whitlock Hotel located on 16 Church Street in Lenox, MA. Housing and relocation assistance can be provided for the right candidate.
Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. The individual will have the opportunity to open our new farm-to-table restaurant concept, Ophelia’s. The position reports directly to the Executive Chef for the property and is supported by the General Manager as well as the F&B team at large.
Responsibilities
Operational:
- Ensure appropriate health and safety standards and best practices
- Master all recipes from prep to plate
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Chop vegetables, prepare sauces and other food preparation
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up stations and take care of any leftover food
