NOBU, the world-renowned Japanese Restaurant, is hiring for its brand new Nobu Atlanta location.

OVERVIEW:

Responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant, including the profitability, monitoring all costs and controls while not compromising guest satisfaction or quality.

To operate the restaurant to the highest of standards; to comply with Nobu procedures and policies and applicable laws and regulations governing health and safety and the workplace.

Maintain the Nobu standards and ensure excellent service.

Maintain excellent guest relations and develop a loyal clientele, including VIP’s and regulars.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4+ years of Restaurant Management experience, 2+ years as a General Manager.

Positive, energetic, punctual, and reliable.

Calm under pressure: must have the ability to problem solve, trouble shoot, effectively prioritize work and assignments, and accurately meet deadlines.

Experience in upscale and/or Japanese restaurant is a plus.

High school diploma or higher preferred.

Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Experience working with Micros Symphony and/or OpenTable a plus.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, delegating tasks, supervising service and strong floor presence.

Work closely with staff, chefs and other managers to ensure guests have extraordinary experiences. 

Assist in the training, mentoring, supervision and motivation of team.

Assist in hiring, coaching, disciplining, counseling, and conducting performance reviews.

Adhere to and enforce cash management systems. See that they are set up by properly.
