CLARK STREET BREAD IS LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD PASTRY COOKS
Bakers at Clark Street Bread work together in a modern, warm and friendly atmosphere to produce quality products. The primary goal of the Clark Street Bread Baker is to maintain high product standards that contribute to the overall guest experience and build memorable team bonds through teamwork.
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Plan and coordinate production while maintaining consistency and product quality standards.
-Understand all bakery equipment and tools while combining/cooking ingredients according to specifications.
-Ensure all food is prepared, handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards.
-Operate and maintain bakery equipment including, but not limited to, mixers, ovens, sheeters, three-compartment sink/dishwasher, etc.
-Assist FOH operations as needed by providing upscale quality service and packaging finished products with care.
-Monitor, receive and stock inventory as it arrives.
-Organize and maintain cleanliness of the work site.
-Work with a sense of urgency and meet performance demands.
Qualification:
-Be a morning person! Pastry Team 3am-4am
-Baking experience and passion.
-Ability to taste and evaluate products, as needed.
-Certified knowledge of Food Handling and Food Safety.
-Exceptional communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
-Ability to operate machinery, tools, and equipment properly and safely.
