Causa is a Peruvian Fine Dining destination from Chef Carlos Delgado. Causa is located in the vibrant neighborhood of Blagden Alley, next to Tigerfork, The Dabney, and The Columbia Room. Causa will feature fresh ceviche, whole fish preparations, wood grilled anticucho, and an exploration of Peruvian coastal, Andes, and Amazonian cuisine. We are looking looking for Servers/Waitstaff to join our team. We are located at 920 Blagden Alley NW.
At Causa we are an employee focused company, and put our team members first. We believe in helping to create a more stable income for our tipped staff, and will include a suggested 20% gratuity on all items sold in house.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Presenting the menu and helping customers select food and drinks.
- Upholding the culture and standards of Causa as dictated in our company handbook.
- Participate in food, cocktails and cultural classes to be able to present the concept to our guests.
- Delivering food to tables with help of support staff.
- Delivering a great customer experience that includes teaching guests about Peruvian culture and how it gets represented by our food and drinks.
Qualifications
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
- Cultivating a warm and welcoming environment for guests or future patrons.
- Able to multitask efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience as a Server, Waitress, or Waiter a plus
- Able to perform side-work to set the restaurant for success before and after every shift.
