Porter House Bar and grill is seeking a night time Pastry Assistant for immediate hire. This is mainly a Pastry Service position with light production throughout the evening.
Requirements:
- Recent Culinary Graduate or 1 year as a pastry cook in high volume restaurant setting.
- Must have schedule flexibility (including weekends and some nights)
- Ability to work quickly and cleanly throughout a shift and meet all deadlines before and during service
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn, a must
- Knowledge of NYC health and sanitation standards and practices
- Must be fully vaccinated
