Taste Restaurant is located in Plymouth, gateway to the Amador Wine Country about 45 minutes from downtown Sacramento.  We are a family owned restaurant with a seasonally driven menu working with local farmers. 

Taste is the highest ZAGAT rated restaurant in the Sacramento region.  Recipient on the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence since 2008.  Top 100 Food and Wine Restaurants by Wine Enthusiast.  Recognized by the James Beard House.

We encourage creativity, teamwork, working hard, constant learning and having fun.   The owners are hands on, have been in the business for over 30 years and work with the team to encourage excellence. 

What do you bring to the table?

You need to have a minimum of 2 current years fine dining experience, be proficient in the kitchen, work clean, be organized, team player, passionate about food, be able to give customer service both internal and external.  Work with Chef/Partner to ensure smooth operations, menu development, specials, staff training, food and wine pairing meals, inventory, ordering and butchery.  Completion of a Culinary Arts education and sanitation certification is a plus.  No Drama.

Compensation is competitive and there is room for advancement.  Must be willing to work live or commute to rural area.   Please send a current resume and we'll be in touch.
