SPQR is located on Fillmore st in Lower Pacific Heights, we are looking for an Experienced Sous Chef to lead the kitchen service team.
This position works closely with the chef and supports the team thru organizing, directing, and executing activities in all aspects of the kitchen and restaurant. This job is primarily focused on training, maintenence of standards, daily service operations and supervision of hourly staff.

Our 5-course menu focuses on the best regional, seasonal and artisan made ingredients, many of them American in origin. Our kitchen focuses on making best use of every part of those carefully sourced ingredients. With an emphasis on fresh pasta, in house butchery and vegetables, our seasonally driven menu changes frequently.

Job Responsibilities include:
- Management, coordination and assistance in daily preparation for all sections, expediting service, inventory management and ordering.
- Assistance in training, supervising and coaching and counseling in coordination with Management of all Company policies and HR compliance.
- Provide and demonstrate mentorship and growth for all hourly employees.
