Wilder is seeking a charismatic Service Manager to join our team!

Wilder is a new center city restaurant seeking a hospitality professional to join our management team!

Wilder is a new restaurant by Brett Naylor & Nicole Barrick. The menu is overseen by Executive Chef Bob Truitt, an alum of the Marea, Ai Fiori, Corton, Room 4 Dessert, and El Bulli. The menu will focus on seasonal American with European influences utilizing local produce and seafood, wood-fired sourdough pizzas, handmade pasta, a raw bar & various other delicious Wilder creations.

We are looking for someone who desires to dive right in, maintain high standards, and help take the restaurant to the next level. The ideal candidate enjoys a professional vibe, working with a diverse group of employees, and has a passion for food and hospitality. 

Job Details
The service manager will be responsible for the entirety of the guest experience in concert with the general manager and assistant managers.  This includes, but not limited to, greeting and seating guests, mingling, assisting servers, resolving guest issues, and coordination with the kitchen. 

We are a group of passionate hospitality professionals looking for like-minded individuals to join our team in an environment conducive to teamwork and growth. 

 QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience in high volume, full service restaurants, preferably with some management experience 
  • Have a real passion for hospitality and customer service
  • Have experience in steps of service, conflict management, and other related front of house skills
  • Have the ability to communicate with clients and staff responsibly and effectively 
  • Have strong knowledge of industry standards and practices
  • Have some basic or extensive wine knowledge  
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and be able to lead by example
