House-made Italian pastries and savory baked selections are also integral and adored components of the Lilia Caffe and Dining Room menus.The Pastry Sous Chef is in charge of overseeing and executing those menu item preparations under the guidance of James Beard Award winning Chef Missy Robbins and Chef de Cuisine Payson Stultz.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, lead and support the pastry production team.
- Assist with training and developing new team members and Interns/Externs.
- Regularly provide menu education for the Caffe and Dining Room teams.
- Enforce all kitchen standards including quality, execution and consistency of all food, as well cleanliness/organizational standards.
- Recipe development.
Requirements:
- Full-time availability, including weekends.
- 2-3 years of similar Pastry experience.
- Highly motivated, dependable and passionate about baking!
