Market is seeking Line Cooks. Market is a brand new Italian concept located in the heart of Venice.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing, or other cooking methods 
• Follow recipes accurately as outlined by chef and sous chefs
• Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes 
• Pasta handling and cookery experience (preferred

Qualifications 

• At least 1 year as a Line Cook in a similar environment
• Reliable
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Must be able to communicate clearly with other staff members
• Current Food Handlers permit on file 
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
• Comfortable working with a team

Physical demands 

• The physical demands for this position are frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
