Grá is a dinner restaurant in Echo Park specializing in organic sourdough pizza that is 100% naturally fermented, topped with exciting new modern ingredients, and cooked out of a classic Neopolitan-style wood burning oven.
We are looking for a talented & passionate Line/Prep Cook who truly loves this industry and wants to be proud of their work and deepen their knowledge for cuisine. If this is you, join our kitchen staff and make delicious food based on our artisan modern recipes. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking and garnishing various foods efficiently keeping within the high standards of our menu. While there will be plenty of opportunities to work with dough and ultimately make pizzas, this position focuses more on the ferments, salads, and small plates section of the menu. A lot of these dishes are simple in terms of prep and plating but consistency and attention to detail is crucial. Some daily/weekly tasks might include cleaning farmer’s market lettuces, pickling cucumbers, making kimchi, and blanching and cutting vegetables, in addition to working the station during dinner service (5pm-10pm). Genuine love for food and cooking preferred.
Our restaurant is 80+ seats, full-service dinner with natural wine and craft beer.
The menu's theme will revolve around the beauty of naturally fermented foods.
This is an hourly positon that also receives tips!

Must be able to work weekdays and weekends. 30-40 hours/week, roughly 8 hours per shift. Competitive pay + tips.
