Fine dining Neobistrot seeking experienced Sous-Chef!
We are a neobistrot that provides high quality, carefully sourced food and natural wines to the neighbourhood in a friendly and unassuming environment.
Dinner at our restaurant can be kept simple (a la carte), or guests can go for the full culinary experience with our 3 courses prix fixe menu. We are open for Dinner Tuesday-Saturday, 5pm to 11pm.
Our menu will highlight seasonal produce and take inspiration from France, Italy and the Mediterranean.
Responsibilities include:
-Memorize all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen including portion sizes and seasoning standards
-Work with the chef and kitchen team to do daily prep leading up to the start of service
-Work with the chef and kitchen team to create new dishes, as our menu changes seasonally
-Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product as outlined by the chef
-Maintain focus during the entirety of service to ensure the highest quality experiecne for both ourselves and our guests
-Be willing and able to assist the chef and kitchen team in areas of high concentration on other work stations when necessary
