Queens Bakehouse is looking for a new Head Viennoiserie Baker! QBH is a modern fine bakery/cafe that produces creative pastries, and unforgettable moments! We aim to push the standard of bakeries to whole new levels with a focus on high quality, approachable culinary creations. We have been described as a New York Style Patisserie.
We are looking for a Head Baker that has a keen sense of quality and passion. This is a chance to be creative!! Experience with French Pastry is necessary. The QBH menu includes many patisserie staples including a large selection of viennoiserie, petit gateau, macarons, entremets, cookies, etc... while also offering an artisinal savory menu. The Head Baker's primary workload will include production of high quality viennoiserie( about 200pcs per day) and doing the daily bake, which may include some pastry garnish. The Head Baker will be working with a lot of laminated doughs, croissants, and brioche. There is an emphasis on quality and creativity! The upstairs kitchen is visible to the dining area, so proper cleanliness and comfort working while visible to guests is important.. We are on an exciting culinary journey. Join the team now!!
