REDEFINING KITCHEN CULTURE:
Our restaurant is committed to creating a work environment that provides not only top pay but comradery, life-work balance, professional development, and an opportunity for advancement. The problem is, we can’t seem to find any takers! Restaurant jobs, specifically kitchen jobs, are becoming harder and harder to fill each passing day. Even so, the pay has gone up at a staggering rate and the talent has gone down at an even more astonishing rate. It’s a bit baffling that everyone wants the culture to change, but aren’t willing to help change it. It seems, from what I hear, the big problem is lack of pay and too many hours. Listen carefully…… That will never change if every restaurant is short staffed!!! WE NEED YOU!!
Our goal here is to teach and use great techniques old and new to produce award winning food and service in a fun and casual atmosphere. Again, listen…… A fun and casual atmosphere is only possible when you have a fully dedicated, fully trained staff all doing their jobs in a professional manner. I believe the key to this is training, organization and systems. The other key is to hire the right staff!! A team of like-minded individuals who all have the same goal in mind. Without that, everyday will be a struggle.
