The venue will be operated by Golden Age Hospitality - the hospitality group behind the acclaimed NYC venues including Acme, The Happiest Hour, The Nines and the newest to the portfolio, Le Dive. The venue will be opening Summer 2022 and we are looking for passionate bartenders who are eager to join the team
The concept will be a wine & raw bar that is inspired by the famous art nouveau laden brasseries of Paris. The space will feature an extravagant raw bar display and will be complemented by a selection of wines and perfect martinis.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Perform all tasks required to open the bar and set up for service, including preparing garnishes and syrups and infusions, setting up mis en place for bar diners
- Prepare beverages for guests at the bar
- Serve food to guests at the bar, as needed
- Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, create memorable guest experiences
- Guide guests through all questions and make thoughtful recommendations
- Anticipate guests' needs and create strong guest relationships; recognize regulars and industry leaders
- Maintain current knowledge of all food, wine & cocktail menus
Requirements for Success:
- Passion for all things hospitality is a given
- Existing knowledge of food, wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, coffee, and tea
- Strong knowledge of dietary allergies
- Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
- Desire to learn
- Ability to work cleanly and maintain attention to detail
- At least 2 years' experience in a high volume environment and/or working with an extensive wine program
- Experience in casual fine dining is preferred
- Proof of Covid vaccination
