Vesuvio Bakery is searching for an experienced Overnight bakery sous chef.
We need a teammate that can help with our growth! We are looking for someone that has strong and clear communication skills, and the ability to motivate and encourage!
The ideal candidate would have:
- Personal time management and efficiency
- Inventory & ordering experience
- Organizing and executing production
- General bread knowledge
- General viennoiserie knowledge
- General pastry knowledge
- Experience with wholesale operations.
Daily Responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Oversee overnight bread and pastry bake
- Consolidating items into the correct orders
- Organizing and executing daily production
- Checking customer orders and ensuring they are in production
- Inventory & ordering
- Assisting in production where needed
- Covering shifts where needed
- Training and mentoring staff
- Working with other managers in an efficient and respectful fashion
We are looking for someone that can hustle and have a broad view of production. Someone that is able and willing to pitch in where it's needed.
