The Diner is looking for a Front of House Restaurant Manager (RM) to join our team of amazing individuals who share a genuine passion for creating and serving great food and drinks, and who enjoy working in a place that promotes a culture of building meaningful connections with our guests and amongst our staff.

Run floor shifts as the Manager on Duty (MOD);

Manage Guest expectations and relations;
-
Document staff performance and behavior;
-
Conduct staff training;
-
Cash Handling & Financial Controls;
-
Inventory & Ordering;
-
Troubleshoot facilities and equipment issues;
-
Administrative and Reporting functions;
-
Assist with Events;
-
Ensure regulatory and compliance;
-
Projects and other duties as assigned.
In addition to the aforementioned duties, RM’s will be trained to assist in various disciplines including but not limited to:

Scheduling - creates or assists in creating staff schedules;

Training - assists GM with coordinating staff training schedules;

Facilities & Equipment - acts as store liaison to F&E team;

Bar Manager - oversees and helps GM with menu specials and development, inventory controls, etc;

Social Media - assists with promotions and marketing;

Events - assists GM in developing special events;

Must be 21 years or older.

Strong oral and written communication skills in English required.

Proficiency in Spanish is a big plus but not required.

Must have excellent people management and listening skills.

Computer proficiency required.

Demonstrated time management, multitasking and organizational skills.

Must work well under pressure.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
-
Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

High School Degree or equivalent.
-
1+ years Management Experience in a full-service restaurant; or
-
2+ years in non-managerial roles in a full-service restaurant.

Food Handler & ABRA license.
