The Wall Street Hotel, partnered with a Michelin-starred and award-winning Chef, is currently looking for an experienced, passionate, and service-focused Bartenders to join our team. Hourly plus tips.
The bartender offers guests memorable bar experiences by successfully executing guest bar service and beverage production in assigned station.
Key Responsibilities:
- Anticipate guests’ needs and maintain positive guest relations at all times, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas
- Maintain complete knowledge of:
- Table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up and dress code of the restaurant
- All liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes in the restaurant
- the characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass and major wines on the wine list
- All menu items, prices, preparation method/time, major ingredients, quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish, and method of presentation
- Proper food handling, lifting, and safety techniques as well as OSHA and DOH regulations to ensure a safe environment for yourself, the guest, and your fellow coworkers
- State liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving, and strictly abide by such regulations
- Daily specials and 86'd items throughout the shift
- The proper technique for taking guests' food and beverage orders, utilizing up-selling techniques, and properly recording orders into a P.O.S. or manual systems
- Leadership techniques to effectively guide your team throughout the service, as well as assisting all staff in their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests
- Proper payment, cash handling and credit card policies/procedures

The Wall Street Hotel will be the home to a full-service restaurant with PDR, lobby bar with lite dining, as well as events.
