Line Cook Position Available starting June 1 at our new location at 433 W Van Buren St, Chicago, IL 60607Summary of Role:Line cook position in a food hall setting. Schedule is M-F with weekends off. Staggered 8 hour shifts: 9am-4pm(ish) and 11am-7pm(ish.) Menu includes sandwiches, soup and salads. Duties and Responsibilites:The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. · Use proper kitchen safety protocols in regards to food preparation (storage, transportation, preparation, etc.) and equipment usage
· Showing up promptly at scheduled time
· Preparing and following prep list and recipe standards
· Keeping station clean and storing equipment and sanitizing work space
· Plating and cooking of foods based on chef's guidance
· Work efficiently and mulitask· With minimal assistance, be able to set up and work multiple stations at an acceptable level
