Lore, located in Park Slope, is enthusiastically seeking a service-oriented manager to lead the front-of-the-house team!
We are looking for our FOH Manager to run all aspects of the front-of-house and service. The service manager will lead by example and be an ambassador for the restaurant. They will strive to meet the highest standards for restaurant operations and foster a warm and engaging work environment for the team. With a hands-on approach, they will oversee employee training, development, dining service, and other operational aspects.
All candidates must have previous NYC restaurant management experience, great social skills, and be organized, detail-oriented and kind. We also value event management experience and maître d’ skills. The FOH Manager will work closely with the leadership team but will also be expected to lead the operations with confidence and professionalism. This person should have a command of service, wine, spirits, and food knowledge in tandem with understanding how to manage staff consistently with tact and grace. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to manage a team of 5-10 employees.
