Boka Restaurant Group and Top Chef/Iron Chef winner, Stephanie Izard, are currently seeking a soft serve specialist to join the team of Duck Duck Goat, specifically our summer-time beach-y ice cream and shaved ice spot Baobing, located in Chicago’s bustling West Loop!
SOFT SERVE SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ice cream and dessert plating (no prep!)
- Limited guest interaction!
- Comply with all safety and sanitation (including handwashing) guidelines and procedures
- Maintenance and organization of your station
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong personal drive, work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure. Team players are a must.
- Ideally kitchen or ice cream shop experience but we are willing to train the right person!
- Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and have a great attitude.

Duck Duck Goat features hand-pulled noodles, house-made dumplings, wontons, spring rolls, and more, ensuring no diner leaves hungry—or without takeout for tomorrow. The restaurant space represents an “everytown Chinatown”— a dreamlike version of the stores and shops found in all quintessential American Chinatowns.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 10- 20lbs if necessary.
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools and equipment.
- Stand and walk for the entirety of an eight-hour shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant.
