Terroir is looking for an inspired cook / existing sous chef who wishes to join our team and assist Chef Bryce Sorem in his process of elevating our cooking program. The specifics of those forays into pushing the boundaries of our culinary leanings are to be discussed with the chef, of course, but suffice it to say, nothing is off the table.
Time at culinary school is not mandatory for this role but you will be a manager, with manager level responsibilities, so a modicum of experience, in front of the stoves and with ordering / inventories / costing, is certainly beneficial.
Ultimately, as long as you are curious and motivated and kind and empathetic, this could be the place for you. The entire staff, BoH AND FoH, work together and we most definitely take care of each other.
