Acclaimed Michelin Star Chef, Mourad Lahlou, and the Aziza family are accepting resumes for hard working and dedicated line cooks to join the culinary team. Our rustic menu showcases an innovative marriage between modern techniques and tradition, highlighting Chef Mourad’s deep knowledge of spices and Moroccan flavors, serving dinner (Wednesday through Sunday).

Requirements
This is a line cook position that includes at least one brunch shift - must be available Friday through Sunday 8am - 5pm

Experience working in a professional kitchen

Advanced knife skills

Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

Respectful to others, maintain a positive work environment with coworkers and guests. NO EGOS

Maintain a level of organization, sense of urgency, and attention to detail

A firm understanding of kitchen sanitation practices and health department standards

Current Food Handler Card

Need to bring your own knives

Culinary school diploma a plus
Job Responsibilities

Set-up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

Cook and prepare items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

Ensure that the final product meets the Company’s quality standards and is delivered in a timely fashion

Report to Chef de Cuisine and follow all instructions accordingly

Keep track, record, and restock inventory appropriately
-
Break down and clean up station and ensure all leftover/unused food products are stored / restocked or disposed of properly

Keep a safe environment by ensuring kitchen appliances and equipment have been cleaned and turned off at the end of each work day and by reporting any health and / or safety concerns or violations immediately to management

Must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
