The position requires:
- Preparing bar for brunch service
- Knowledge of classic cocktails and basic wine service
- Attending to customers
- Presenting restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
- Taking and serving orders
- Answering questions or making recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborating with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Dealing with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issuing bills and accepting payment
- Performs other duties as directed.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a New York fine dining restaurant
- Natural communicator with excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, flexible and a team player
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Dependability
