Bar Ivy is a brand new restaurant opening in Clarendon in the coming weeks. Bar Ivy comes from the founders of Tiger Fork, Calico, Hi-Lawn, and The Fainting Goat and combines the cool, relaxed vibe of the West Coast with a Mid Atlantic approach to ingredients, shining the spotlight on seafood and vegetables, vibrant cocktails and low-intervention wines.
We are looking for line cooks to join the team and be part of the opening team.
Responsibilities include:
- Answer, report and follow chef’s and sous chef’s instructions
- Prepare food for service
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare menu items in high quality and timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Clean up station
Ideal candidates have 1-2 years experience in a professional kitchen and are familiar with industry best practices.
Hourly pay depends on experience.
Must be able to work brunch. Full time preferred but open to part time.
