I am looking for a Full Time Cook for Dinner Service, with availability to work Monday and Tuesday nights in the future.
Serious and professional kitchen staff are wanted! I am looking for strong and motivated cooks to add to my team. Experience is a plus, if not we will train you, you must come willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Punctuality is mandatory, cleanliness and the ability to take direction and criticism are extremely important. I want people that are passionate about dining and serious about food, this means you really truly enjoy cooking, eating and being a part of a team.
We are an established seasonally driven restaurant that focuses on old world techniques and modern Italian, American, and coastal Mediterranean flavors. Our food exemplifies our scratch kitchen philosophy, with pastas made by hand daily, produce from the local farmers' market, and whole animal butchery providing the backbone of our cuisine. We look for Chefs and Cooks looking to invest time and training into our program as we look forward to investing time and training in you. Our goal is to give our staff the opportunity to learn and develop in their professional lives to build careers for themselves while enriching our program here at The Tasting Kitchen.
Chefs we are looking for should have a foundation in:Knowing how to work as a team member
Have the ability to operate a clean and precise working environment.
Knowledge of DOH protocols.
Ability to stay focused and positive under stress
Have familiarity with seasonal and imported products
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $20.00) plus tips
Estimated Weekly Tips: $150
