Studio / Venue Manager - 99 Scott X Happier


99 Scott is seeking a Studio/Venue Manager to join our fast growing team. 99 Scott is part of the Happier Hospitality Group affiliated with 154 Scott. Located at the intersection of East Williamsburg and Bushwick, 99 Scott is a space for engaging conversations across creative disciplines. With over 8,000 square feet of thoughtfully-designed space, 99 Scott hosts a wide array of events and programs. We are looking for a creative and thoughtful Manager that aligns with our mission and focus. At 99 Scott we are purposeful, people-centric, lifestyle experience-focused. We believe in bringing the best of ourselves to the venue on a 360-degree level. The person we are searching for will have the ability to work alongside our team in executing each unique event.


The Studio/Venue Manager is responsible for assisting with all logistics for events and operations at 99 Scott. The ideal candidate works well in a fast paced, growing team environment. They are comfortable working with producers and management on multiple projects at once, all while staying organized. The position requires excellent organizational, communication and multitasking skills. We are looking for someone who is flexible, personable and hard working with a great attitude to join the team. 


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendors, staff and greeting active/potential clients entering the venue.
  • Respond to leads and inquiries made digitally and over the phone; connect clients with the appropriate department.
  • Handle daily administrative duties.
  • Compose call sheets and run of shows for the venue’s events that are distributed to event staff.
  • Schedule event personnel and facilities staff; submit payroll hours and tip sheets to accounting on a weekly basis.
  • Schedule security and the event cleaning crews as needed.
  • Handle all supply and beverage orders for events and facilities; process invoices with accounting and inventory on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure effective event management before, during and after each event.
  • Serve as onsite manager for all photo & film shoots.
  • Collect and file vendor COIs & certificates.
  • Compose, file and process event reports.
  • Complete daily walk throughs of the space to ensure that the venue is walk through ready and/or event ready.

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to multitask & prioritize.
  • Client and customer service oriented with the ability to communicate with a wide rage of individuals.
  • An understanding of the art, fashion and entertainment industries. 
  • A positive and professional attitude with ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible thinking, well-developed problem solving skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficient in Google Platforms and Excel; Tripleseat experience a plus.
  • Experience with managing invoices and contracts.
  • Production background is a major plus.

 

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
