A fine dining restaurant is currently conducting a search for a talented Executive Chef.
The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall quality and profitability of the restaurant.
He/She ensures that all personnel and systems function efficiently so that guests are
Satisfied, the business achieves budgeted profit levels and employee morale is maintained.
The Executive Chef must work in partnership with the General Manager and communicate
fully. The Executive Chef supervises all the back-of-house staff. This position is full-time
and salaried.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive culinary experience as an Executive Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in well-rated, industry leading kitchen
- Ability to produce a high volume of work in a timely manner, with attention to details of food quality, preparation and presentation
- Actively practice food safety procedures
- Organizational skills
- Strong command of high-end cuisine
- Passion for training and development of others
- Influential, team-oriented leadership style
- Strong writing and computer skills with a degree in culinary arts from an accredited University preferred
Compensation:
We offer $100000 base + bonus package, paid time off and health insurance.
