We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef, Patissier at Yakitori Torishin.
We specialize in Yakitori (Chicken Skewers) , one of the unique Japanese cuisines. We are the only Yakitori restaurant in the U.S. that has received a star from Michelin for seven consecutive years. 3 Stars from NY times. Customers are looking forward to the Japanese food culture and coming from many countries. This is a high-end restaurant and is very crowded.
Our Chef’s Omakase course includes fresh and seasonal ingredients from Japan.
We consider the dessert, the last dish of the course, very important to make the customer’s experience at Torishin more memorable and special.
You will be :
Passionate to create memorable experiences for customers through your dessert.
Eager to learn Japanese culture, seasonal and high grade ingredients to make original and creative desserts.
Interested in learning Japanese traditional style yakitori.
Japanese language skill is a big plus but not necessary.
