Responsibilities:
- Report to Grand Sierra Resort Management Team
- Liason with Charlie Palmer Collective in maintaining CPC brand guidelines and best practices
- Ensure proper communication between front of house and back of house during and outside of service
- Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings)
- Schedule monthly staff trainings by department and as a team
- Assist with preparing shift schedules, maximize guest experience while managing labor costs within approved GSR metrics
- Ensure front of house employees are clocking in and out according to company policy
- POS Programing
- Actively participate in service: take food and wine orders, assist support staff (clearing & resetting tables)
- Overseeing restaurant staff performance, ensuring quality dining
- Close and open restaurant
- Assist with keeping detailed records of daily, weekly, and monthly costs and revenues
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulation
- Respond to guests’ feedback and recommend improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a qualified restaurant
- A passion for hospitality, food and beverage and the guest experience
- Strong organizational & creative problem-solving skills
- The ability to comfortably lead a team in a busy atmosphere
- Knowledge on restaurant management software, like OpenTable
- Creative & Team oriented
- Fine Dining experience a plus
