Justine Rosenthal is launching a new venture that will feature the wines of Rosenthal Wine Merchant, and is seeking candidates to lead the kitchen team. Applicants should possess significant line cooking experience, and a passion for simple, expertly-made, ingredient-driven cuisine. Our kitchen is small but well-equipped, completely open, and entirely electric. We are looking for someone who is interested to take an important next step in their culinary career, and work in close collaboration with management.
Justine’s is located at 518 Hudson Street (and W. 10th) in the West Village, and is scheduled to open in early June. Our dining room and bar, which seat a total of 35 guests, will be dedicated to the service of great European wine, and cuisine to match. The sous chef position offers reasonable hours, a healthy team atmosphere, and a starting salary of 80k.
