The Opportunity

Morgan Manufacturing is searching for a Bar Supervisor to join our team at Morgan MFG in Chicago, Illinois.

Responsibilities

Oversee bar set-up and closing procedures on event days.
Ensure that all company policies are followed by associates.
Observe, evaluate, and communicate the job performance of bar team members to the Operation manager.
Ensure associates meet appearance standards and follow all uniform guidelines.
Assist with an end-of-month inventory.
Assist bartending associates in serving guests as business levels demand.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2-years of experience in a supervisory position is required.
Previous experience in bartending is required.
Knowledge of bartending techniques, recipes, sanitation, and safety issues.
Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

Frequent walking, throughout the entire facility, for the entire length of the shift.
Constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
Able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
Bar environment, noise
