Events by RHC is looking to hire a Pastry Sous Chef.
Pastry Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Peak Pastry Chef on development of new menu items
- Research and development of recipes
- Submission of orders and daily inventory
- Oversee production of all desserts and pastries – Events and Facebook
- Monthly inventory of pastry goods
- Liaise with EC and CDC on quality control
- Maintain cleanliness of Pastry walk-ins and dry storage
- Oversight of pack out of pastry produced items
Pastry Sous Chef Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience as a pastry cook, baker, or similar
- Knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process
- Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts
- Keen attention to detail
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when required
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
