Requirements:

  • Person with cheerful and enthusiastic character
  • At least one year’s experience in a similar job
  • Experience in kitchen work
  • Notions of Japanese cuisine preferred
  • Education: Secondary qualifications or similar
  • Flexible schedule and mobility

Responsibilities

  • Prepare work areas for service
  • Carry supplies and equipment necessary required for service
  • Follow production and development data sheets for each dish
  • Check that kitchen complies with all health and nutrition requirements
  • Plan, run and develop the entire mise en place
  • Check that all weights, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures are upheld by all kitchen staff
  • Responsible for receiving, verifying, supervising and distributing the product received from suppliers
  • Ensure that all products received are stored at appropriate temperatures
  • Prepare restaurant desserts in an appropriate and professional way
