Machine shop is a small newly re-envisoned bakery located on the ground floor of the BOK building in south philly. Respecting french baking and pastry tradition we bring a fresh modern approach to french classics, and are dedicated to utilizing local seasonal ingredients.

We are looking to add an experienced baker to our small team. An ideal canidate would be organized, enthusiastic, self motivated, and detail oriented.

Candidate Pre-Requisites

Experience with high-hydration sourdough breads
Proficent in lamination techniques
Ability to set and mantain standards
A strong foundation in traditional techniques and the desire to continue learning

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($16.00 - $18.00) plus tips
