Melted is a new soft serve ice cream and dessert shop loacted in the Source Market place in the RiNo district of Denver. We share a space with our sister restaurant Bellota (formerly Acorn). This eclectic shop features rotating soft serve flavors with fun toppings and housemade waffle cones and our version of the Thai bun, a decadent made to order ice cream sandwich. We're looking for a manger to oversee the operations. The Melted Manager (MM) is responsible for leading a team of ice cream associates to provide excellent customer service while fulfilling orders, as well as guest and associate satisfaction, brand standards and profitability. The MM will select, develop and effectively lead a highly engaged team. These responsibilites include recruiting, hiring, training, coaching associate engagement and performance management. The MM ensures an exceptional guest experience that supports our vision to become “Fast, Fun & Friendly”. Their duties also include taking inventory of products or placing orders as needed and helping Ice Cream Associates handle customer questions or complaints. The MM also supervises the day-to-day task assignments and performance of all associates. They ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.

Melted is a foodservice outlet that shares space with the full service restaurant Bellota. In a restaurant environment, occasional exposure to working conditions that including tight spaces, extreme temperatures and potential contact with cleaning products is the norm. Anticipate spending the majority of the shift standing with frequent bending and lifting.
As part of the Source Marketplace, Melted will operate during times in which the Marketplace is busy. Those include afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends and some holidays. The MM should be available to work all shifts based on business needs.

This is an annual salaried position. The salary range is between $45,000 and $50,000, depending on experience and benefits package. The MM is expected to work at least forty hours per week. They are eligible for two weeks paid vacation with the ability to earn more through tenure and a parking pass. The compensation package is negotiable and can include individual health insurance, bonuses and/or profit sharing.
Some educational requirements for a MM are a high school diploma or equivalent. A MM should have several years of related experience in a fast paced food service or retail establishment. Ideally the MM has previous related experience with a supervisory capacity on their resume. Experience leading a team in a retail or restaurant setting is essential. Working as a Manager in hospitality is useful with staff and guest management abilities. Familiarity with financial statements, ordering and inventory management are also requisite skills. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to be considered for this position.
Compensation: Salary ($45,000.00 - $55,000.00)
