Assistant General Manager (AGM)

Johnny Brenda’s is a bar, restaurant and independent music venue at Front and Girard in Fishtown. JB's is looking for full-time Assistant General Manager. This position includes, but is not limited to, being in charge of the beer program, inventorying and ordering for the entire beverage department, completing daily administrative tasks (including handling of money), and assisting staff on the floor/behind the bar during peak business hours. 

We’re looking for an individual who has: 3+ years of bartending experience, beer knowledge, great communication skills, and is self-sufficient in time management. It is also imperative to have a positive attitude, is able to make responsible decisions on the fly, troubleshoot problems, and develop a relationship with both FOH and BOH staff that is dependable and built upon respect. This position is salaried and requires 45  hours per week. Basic computer and spread sheet knowledge is a must.  Being familiar with the growing neighborhood of Fishtown is a plus.
