A lead bartener-mixologist mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on guests requests and Narbona drink’s matrix. Prepare and assist to oversees the staff and operations of a bar by makin sure it’s clean, functioning efficiently and inviting for costumers to relax in. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of costumers, preparig and serving alcoholic beverages, selling and serving food, accepting payments from costumbers, cleaning glasses and bar utensils and balancing cash and credit card receipts to record sales.  

Their duties includes managing and resolving customer complains ad ensuring the bar’s inventory is well-stocked.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

• Anticipate guest’s needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience
• Serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages to restaurant and bar guests directly or through servers
• Serve beer, wine, make classic drinks and create new receipes for cocktails
• Ensure that the bar run smoothly and efficiently
• Follow opening and closing duties accordingly to company standards
• Able to multi task
• Maintain through understanding of menu items and preparation techniques
• Must be a team player

Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

• Verify identification and age requirements of costumers
• Mix traditional and creative cocktails, following Narbona’s cocktail matrix and techniques
• Suggest and sell food and drinks accordingly to company guidelines
• Follow bar sequence of service accordingly to Narbona handbook  
• Maintain open tabs accordingly to company standards
• Process payment from guests accordingly to Narbona SOP
• Print POS reports, perform voids, buy back and comps with manager’s approval
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Make suggestions based on guests tastes and preferences
• Record balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
• Maintain bank following cash handling procedures
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
• Build a rapport with regular guests to create a positive atmosphere
• Follow daily requisition, stocking and inventory company needs. Report any supply shortage to Restaurant Manager
• Clean and maintain bar equipment at the end of each shifts following closing duties
• Review daily specials, stations, and other applicable announcements
• Train new hires in bar techniques, bar service, company recipes and POS
• Assist with catering and/or banquet needs
• Review daily and weekly functions with Restaurant and Bar Managers
• Lead to achieve desired results in high quality service and experience for our guests
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management
