Cafe Ynez is looking to add a team member that will focus primarily on FOH service, but work closely with an open kitchen BOH & General Manager. Cashier will be responsible for maintaining FOH service standards, which include, but are not limited to reviewing daily specials, placing to-go orders, maintaining & assembling all third-party delivery orders (Grub Hub, Caviar, etc.) and building a regular guest base. Cashier will be professional, polite, self-sufficient, take initiative, hard-working, motivated, and energetic.
Candidate will need to be computer/tablet literate, possess superior customer service skills, ability to multi-task, and work efficiently & effectively with little to no supervision. Prior restaurant experience is preferred, but not required. Bi-lingual preferred, but not required (English/Spanish). Candidate will need to be able to work evenings and weekends.
