Looking for a morning baker to join the team at Familiar Bakery!

Familiar Bakery is a new concept by the 16 on Center team, focusing on buying good food and making contemporary versions of American bakery classics. Our menu includes:

Many donuts
Danishes + laminated pastries
Sweet and savory rolls
Assorted breads
Hand pies
Cookies
Tea cakes
Tarts and pies
Sandwiches and bagels

The bakery is open Monday-Friday, so no weekend shifts unless you want them! As we grow, we’ll have Sunday prep shifts available. Full-time work will be 4 days a week, and this position is included in the tip pool for bakery sales. 

Ability to start work at 4:30am is necessary. At least 1 year experience in a professional kitchen (pastry or otherwise) is required. Familiarity with customer service is a plus! 

This is a highly collaborative, respectful, and creative environment. Everyone on staff is expected to understand and participate in all tasks (from recipe development to ordering to dishwashing), and there’s opportunity for the right people to step up into management roles. We're a small team with plans to expand rapidly, so there is a lot of space for growth in all roles.
