Do you want to spend your summer on the East End of Long Island?
Restaurateur & Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser is looking for a talented General Manager to join the JF Restaurants team at North Fork Table & Inn, his New American restaurant, housed in a historic countryside home in the North Fork of Long Island. As a longstanding champion of farm-to-table philosophy, it has been John's dream to open a restaurant on the North Fork, surrounded by farms, vineyards and fisheries.

Free Housing Options Are Available

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the front-of-house operations and employees in accordance with company policies and procedures and works concurrently with the Chef de Cuisine ensuring a successful operation. Interacts with the dining room guests, fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.

Core responsibilities include but not limited to:

Develop and Maintain

  • Service Training
  • Floor Leadership
  • Profitability of Business Unit
  • Employee Development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working as a General Manager or similar capacity, within a high volume upscale, fine dining restaurant or luxury restaurant
  • Excellent financial acumen
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Open availability

In addition to the required qualifications listed above, we are seeking a passionate hospitality professional who is highly organized and an effective communicator with demonstrated ability to successfully lead while focusing on maintaining and elevating standards. We are looking for people who can work well with a tight, harmonious team and who can take direction in a disciplined and intense but supportive and respectful environment.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($75,000.00 - $80,000.00)
