Taqueria Chingón is seeking a full time line cook that is eager to learn and expand their culinary knowledge for the position.

Responsibilities:Mixes ingredients according to recipes
Produces high quality products
Observe and taste food prepared to verify flavor and texture standards
Suggest menu or recipe changes so food will be used before expiration dates
Organize for work for maximum
Check food temperatures before serving
Prepares ingredients for assigned menu items as scheduled
Properly presents all food items and to provide maximum appeal, quality, temperature, and freshness
Maintains kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule using ‘clean as you go’ approach
Communicates appropriately and effectively with all food service staff, supervisors
RequirementsAbility to cross train in all stations
2 years line cook experience
Weekend availability including Sundays is a must
Ability to work independently part of a team, and the ability to multi task are necessary for this position
