Job Details
We are looking for a professional Line Cook to prepare food to our exact standards and specifications. This position plays a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and positive culture. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. This position also includes setting up stations for service; grilling on a char-boiler while frying and sautéing; cooking in a brick fire pizza oven; closing and cleaning stations after service.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and equipment
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook
- Thorough understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s FDA health code standards
- Must be 18 years or older
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.00 - $18.00)
