Centrally located and recently renovated restaurant is offering a unique opportunity to a head chef with the experience and passion to design a new menu and run the back of house operations.
The candidate will have full creative control over the menu design, hiring, and operations for a 40 seat restaurant/bar with an oversized kitchen in a downtown location close to bars, breweries, restaurants, shops, and public transportation. The restaurant is fully permitted, ready to open, and the budget includes room for equipment upgrades and kitchen remodeling to accommodate the new menu.
Base salary is $45,000 to $65,000 as part of a competitive and flexible compensation package including ownership opportunities and/or profit sharing.

Responsibilities:
- Menu design and implementation
- Oversee all BoH operations

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years culinary experience
- Demonstrated experience leading a culinary team
- Ability to craft exciting menus and stay current on culinary trends
- Experience selecting vendors and sourcing products
- Servsafe certification or relevant food safety training
