The re-opening of Foragers Table is part of our post-pandemic recasting of Foragers Market. We are located in the heart of Chelsea – the most dynamic neighborhood in New York!
Our market and farm-to-table menu reflects the influence of our French, African and American born chefs, each of whom work wonders with the locally sourced produce and whole foods that make it both to our kitchen and to the open market next door.
Our founding partners have developed life-long connections with farmers and producers throughout the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires.
Low key, live music, such as a local cellist, will pop up occasionally, like peonies in a flower box after the rain, in the corner of our newly revitalized space.
Tending our Bar:
You will handle all wine, cocktail, and tap craft beer orders placed either at the bar or from our bistro tables in the dining space surrounding the bar.
You enjoy farm-to-table food and possess a strong knowledge of the flavor profiles of a menu that is based on seasonal, locally sourced foods as well as on charcuterie and cheeses sourced from around the world.
You can support our prepared food and restaurant cooking staff, especially through communicating to guests what our team in whipping up in the kitchen and what from our drink menu would pair nicely.
You are hospitable and engaging as the leader of our restaurant service team.
Foragers Table is an intimate space, a place where you will help to create a welcoming and charming place for guests -- many of whom are our Chelsea neighbors. As such, you provide a graceful, attentive regard for service that includes being responsive throughout the shift.
You ensure food and beverage arrives to our guests promptly and correctly and confirm guest satisfaction.
You maintain the cleanliness of bar and restaurant areas and assist in taking inventory and ordering with our purchasing managers. You know to communicate respectfully with chefs and kitchen team as necessary and you engage management for any guest issue or complaint.
You stock and prepare bar service items.
You adhere to grooming and dress code standards.
