Line cook

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who love cooking, have interest in the overall guest experience, and who bring good energy to work. We offer a structured training program as well as flexible schedules to support your other goals. 


At Oleana, you will—

  • Learn how to compose beautiful food across several stations
  • Cook with lots of high-quality ingredients, including vegetables from our own farm and many flavorful spices
  •  Work on an incredible team to meet the challenge of high standards and high volume
  •  Gain depth of knowledge about middle eastern/Turkish cuisine and different spices

  • $20-25/hour that includes a percentage of our house fee

About us—

At Oleana, we create food and beverage menus inspired by the Mediterranean and the Middle East.  We cook with a lot of vegetables from our own farm and we care about each other and our customers. We build long-term relationships with our employees and support individuals who wish to further their career development within the food industry. 

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of experience cooking in a restaurant kitchen and a working knowledge of kitchen basics, e.g. cleanliness, safety and organization.

Oleana is a James Beard award-winning restaurant led by chef Ana Sortun in Cambridge, MA. We serve thoughtful Eastern-Mediterranean food with locally-sourced ingredients and bold spices. We build long-term relationships with our employees and we support individuals who wish to further their career development within the food industry.

Our patio with a fountain, herb garden and fig tree is the perfect place to spend a sultry summer evening. But winter nights in the dining room are pretty warm and welcoming too, with Turkish carpets on the wall, a homey fireplace and banquette seating.

We have an open kitchen at Oleana, and it is tiny. But the flavors and creativity that emerge from it are as big as they come.
