General Manager
Below are the responsibilities of the General Manager expected:
Maintains operations by preparing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and Customer-service standards. Determining and implementing system improvements. in other words - Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
Close working with FOH including other Manager and beverage manager and Ensuring they performs their duties in order
Maintaining FOH labor costs , hiring & firing , hotschedules and create a great work culture
Attracting Customers by developing and implementing marketing & advertising strategies
Conflict resolution & Decision making
Ensuring restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining management staff. Planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions. planning and reviewing compensation actions. enforcing policies and procedures.
Maintaining safety and food quality standards
Keeping customers happy and handling complaints.
Organizing schedulesKeeping track of employees' hours.Recording payroll data
Ordering food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
