Who we are looking for:

The Culinary Development Chef is a self-starter with leadership qualities who thrives in a fast paced, growing environment. In this position, you will be the resident expert on culinary innovation, freshness, and local, sustainable food sources. Your primary focus will be to drive culinary quality and innovation within the Korean Fried Chicken space in Orbital Kitchens.

The individual must:
  • Be detail oriented
  • Have excellent organizational skills
  • Have at least 3+ years experience in the culinary field
  • Have experience working in the Korean Food industry
  • Have high expectations for customer service and quality of food.
  • Have a passion for food and innovation
  • Have knowledge of special diets and allergens
  • Have the ability to multitask at all points during your work day
  • Have an eagerness to grow as part of a close-knit team

Your responsibilites will include:
  • Managing the daily food production including production planning and controls.
  • Developing menus and managing inventory
  • Proactively manage the menu/recipe development and planning operations
  • Provide strategic analysis and solutions to manage product cost and food productions systems
  • Utilizing company and approved industry techniques and processes to determine program changes and recommendations for innovation and upgrades
