A lively modern Peruvian restaurant in West Hollywood is hiring Assistant General Managers.

GUEST RELATIONS
  • Responsible for delivering exceptional service in all areas.
  • Lead in-service guest issues when MOD, and support GM remotely on days off.
  • Lead guest recovery efforts, identify areas for service improvement.
  • resolve any food quality or service standards issues. 

OPERATIONAL

  • Ensure a safe employee and guest environment
  • Complete incident reports
  • Oversee the daily operations
  • Build and maintain strong positive relationships with all key stakeholders (i.e. corporate leadership, operating partners, vendors).
  • Oversee all areas of service:
    • Floor management.  Responsibilities include: frequent decision making and troubleshooting; maintaining proper flow of service (door, on the floor, at the bar, and expo);
    • upholding service standards, product quality, and cleanliness.
    • continuous communication with the kitchen and all FOH staff
    • guest interaction
    • Reservations office and private events communications

Skills & Requirements

  • 2+ years of AGM experience required
  • Prior oversight of $3+ million full-service restaurant
  • Manager Food Handler’s Certification required
  • Exceptional service skills, food and beverage knowledge required
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and mentor managers
  • Familiarity of the Los Angeles chefs, restaurants, and clientele
  • High volume, fast-paced, high profile restaurant experience preferred
  • Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.

Physical Demands 

  • The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 7 to 9 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Working Friday, Saturday and all holidays
  • Must be able to work on-site 5 days per week from at least 2pm to closing.
